We all could do with a little extra cash in our pockets. Here are some tried and tested (by me) methods to top up the tenners and make money online.
We have all been spending plenty of time at home lately and in that time there will be things that we use all the time and others that are just in the way. Maybe it's the gym equipment that is now gathering dust or the hobby that lasted a week at best. Well why not cash them in and let someone else enjoy them. There are so many ways to de-clutter now. Preloved is a great example and makes it easy to give you wallet a boost!
Don't forget to check out the Money off and discounts section for Preloved deals and membership discounts for even more savings
There are lots of companies out there that are looking people to become Mystery shoppers. Most assignment are for small amounts of money such as £10-£20, but they are also only small amounts of work needed. I have carried out a few of these assignments and found them to be easy money. One was simply to assess the roadwork on my local stretch of motorway. Be aware of companies asking you for up front fees, remember you are the one that should be earning out of this.
One of my favourite ways that I found to make a few extra £'s was to buy items (toys are a great example) from supermarkets or discount outlets that were in the clearance. Some great places to look are AliExpress, DealXtreme DX.com, JoyBuy and Discount Experts. Supermarkets in particular sometimes sell off end of stock items at ridiculously low prices just to make way for the new stock. I would take these items and put them online (for example amazon) at the normal price and pocket the difference.
This process is known as retail arbitrage.
Are you type of person that can sit at laptop, have an idea of what you want to say and just get it all down, or do you have an aptitude for logos and graphic design, can you translate from a foreign language. If so then check out Fiverr. This is freelance site that will pay you for your skills!
This process seems like a lot of work, but trust me, it really isn't. Look for a trend, find the item on sites like Joybuy.com or aliexpress, Get a logo from sites like Fiverr and list on sites like Amazon. FBA (fulfillment by Amazon) actually can take care of all the customer service, delivery and any returns. The only hard bit is choosing the items. We all remember those fidget spinners right.
If you have something to share with the world then why not say it all on a website of your very own, Sure there are set up fees but this can be quite small and easy to re-coop. Using a company like fiverr for logo etc can save on some of these. Once your site is up and running there are plenty of services like Googles adsense or by using affiliate marketing sites that will let provide you with companies to promote in return for a commission. AWIN is a great site for anyone looking to get into the world of affiliate marketing.
The internet is still a fantastic place to make money. The myth that it is overcrowded is just that, a myth. If anything there are now even more opportunities, you just have to look a little harder. Find a niche and go for it. Check sedo to see if your perfect name is available.

Headquartered in London’s Canary Wharf, YourParkingSpace is the UK’s most trusted online parking platform.
Starting from the simple belief that parking could – and should – be easier, YourParkingSpace has been striving to make parking better since its foundation in 2013.
Think of how you booked your last flight, rented a flat, booked a hotel, bought car insurance, or even found a date. Businesses like Skyscanner, Rightmove, Booking.com, MoneySupermarket and Match.com all spring to mind. These online businesses have only been around for a few years. They’re relatively new and yet they’re brands you recognise.
Our aim is for YourParkingSpace to be the online business that springs to mind next time you want to park your car. The YourParkingSpace platform connects drivers with over 350,000 privately owned and commercially operated parking spaces across the UK, available to book hourly, daily, or monthly basis. Drivers can book parking on-demand through our website and mobile applications.
